Question. I am trying to wrap my head around the whole, 7 8 9 speed thing. I have 7 speed cassette in the rear, the crank I found that I like is a 9 speed crank. This just refers to the spacing and size of chain right? Can i use the 9 speed chainring and crank with my 7 speed cassette?
