Yep, I agree. You can get lost out there very easily. We rode Croom this past weekend in FL. Most of the trail is very well marked but towards the end on the Blue trail (last 5 – 7 miles), there were many intersections without clear markings. A few of the guys were trailing me and I decided to pick a route by myself. Well, after 5 mins of riding alone, I did not get a good feeling. I turned around and went back to meet my group. I figured that if we get lost, I want to be w/ the group! Being alone out there is not the most comfortable feeling. We got lucky and picked the correct route. We were VERY excited since that Blue trail is 32 miles if you do everything. We were ready to wrap-up that ride. Great ride…many, many miles of singletrack w/ a little bit of technical stuff thrown in.
