Interesting to say the least. One thing i believe without a doubt is had MTBs been around when the NPS was established we’d never have this issue because they would all have singletrack in them. I do find it hilarious that hikers and horses are allowed but bikes are not. Like the rubber on our tires are somehow more impactful than aggressive tread on rubber soled hiking boots or a horse that weighs no telling what tearing up the trails with each horseshoed step.
