All good stuff. I too am new to the sport. Absolutely love it!! Just a quick word on the helmet…. I was a part time user. If I was riding more difficult trails I’d wear one. Was on the easy single track this weekend. Moment of inattention and caught side of tree. Landed 15 feet away and on my dome. As luck would have it.. I was wearing the helmet. Dusted myself off, checked the bike, and continued my ride. Anyway, ride well and ALWAYS wear the melon armor.
