I have a Wolverine on the rear of my Scott Aspect Trail 29er. I love this tire. I have not ridden on rocks so I cannot comment. I find them fast and grab a hold of everything. However it does claw at slippery and wet top soil, however expect to slide. It does not like the slimy stuff. Hard pack, roots, sand, has good traction and will let you know it is slipping before it gone. It’s low profile seems to be pretty good on pavement as well.
