I’m not a fitness nut by any stretch, but I try to get to the gym 2 to 3 days a week for some weight training, core exercise, and running. I find that when I’ve been consistently hitting the gym that my riding is better. The problem is the time committment. A day or two of riding and 2-3 days in the gym is hard to pull off. When I have to chose, it is mountain biking. For the fun of it, of course!
