Boyce Park is home to at least 20 miles of mountain bike trails during the summer. While it’s possible there’s grooming here, due to its close proximity to Pittsburgh, chances are good that most of these trails get traffic packed when snow falls.

While also located on the Colorado Front Range, this trail sits up a little higher and hangs onto snow for more of the season than the other Colorado trail on this list. Of course, none of the Colorado trails listed here are the best fat biking trails in the state, but they are some of the most popular trails that see wintertime fat bike traffic. For better snow biking, be sure to head higher up into the mountains to destinations like Winter Park, Leadville, and Crested Butte.

20. Elm Creek Park, Maple Grove, Minnesota

Yet another showing from the Twin Cities area, Elm Creek Park is a popular ride in both the winter and the summer. Your Turn: What’s your favorite fat biking trail? Share it with us in the comments section below!
