Wow. Just wow.

I see on http://www.georgiabikes.org, they say –

We won a three foot passing bill in 2011
We defeated a single-file riding bill in 2012
We won a statewide Complete Streets policy

Hopefully HB689 will be defeated as well…
Hmmm… I’ll have to check into that.

Ok, I added location info to one of my pics and it didn’t delete the meta info. We’re not able to get the meta info for all photos so maybe the pic you located didn’t have the dimensions listed to begin with?[/quote:3mh3e52q]

Just looked at the photos of mine I previously looked at, and no dimensions. Looked at some ones I hadn’t looked at recently, they had the size. Until I clicked the back button… Looked at a few other members pics. Most of thos showed the size, until I went back to them. This happening with firefox 23.0.1 and safari 6.0.5 on a macbook air. Probably not massively important in the scheme of things, but like I posted previously, I was interested in seeing the dimension of pics…

If you add the photo location – the image size no longer shows? Or is it just me?!

in reply to: New photo pages on Singletracks #121791

Wow, also liking, how you can go in and edit the exact location where the pic was taken!

Just tried it on one of my pics… the marker indicated it was fairly close to where it was taken, but on another nearby trail

By zooming in, I was able to place it exactly where I took the pic

😃

I like how it now says the image size… before I would sometimes click an image to see if there was a (much) larger view (only sometimes to find it was the same size), now we can see exactly how much bigger it will be… good stuff

I’ve always lubed mine. I use some Park grease, but any bearing grease will do.

Thanks! 😃

Good luck Neil!

Looking at the Amtrak web site, here’s the info about taking bikes on the train

Just a couple of things to say to start with… The first is regards to train travel. Do NOT expect ANYTHING like European train travel service(s). Seriously. Just as an example, the last time I looked (admittedly a few years ago) at getting a train to San Francisco, from Los Angeles, it involved: Train. Change to a bus. Another train. Change to another bus. Finally another train. Total time? about 24 hours. It only takes 6 hours to drive… Having said that, the Coast Cruiser from Orange county to San Diego is a nice ride, especially when its (right) next to the ocean. And yes, I’m fairly sure you can take a bike – but you might need to reserve space.
You’ll find everything a lot easier if you just hire a car

As for bike rentals, my "local" bike shop, The Path Bike shop in Tustin (Orange County, Southern California) charges $55 per day

Where exactly are you planning to go in California? Its a big place…!

Either that, or I need to shoot for the Homebody badge 😀

I thought the Homebody badge had been (temporarily?) removed?

If I said [i:32et0fov]"after much blood, sweat and tears"[/i:32et0fov] – it’d only be for dramatic effect… 😉

no blood, surprisingly few tears – but gallons of sweat…

… off for a shower now…

3 points for new trails

Just my luck! I’ve submitted a few trails over the past few days! ARGH! 😢

Oh well, can’t win ’em all 😉

So, if he’d died (e.g. bled to death), it sounds like the cops wouldn’t have bothered treating this as a potential murder case? I mean, c’mon, neck height :?: 😈

And yes, I’ve encountered lots of rusty barbed wire when trekking out in the country, but its fairly obvious it was part of an old fence…

We need some of these in the US.

I was born and raised near the Peak District, and although I haven’t been there in… 25(ish) years – and I don’t know of the trails on which you can ride – I’d still recommend it to anybody for a visit, its really nice there. And now if you can mountain bike… it really would be worth visiting 😃
I’ve been screwed out of 2 trail check-ins. 😈

How so?

PS my latest badge:[/quote:2rv0zhy6]

A whole bunch of mine have disappeared in the last 24 hours, and other odd stuff like it says some badges have local check in times, and mine are showing east coast times, so I’m missing out on dawn patrol, stuff like that. I’ve put in a ticket, but I’m feeling kinda bad, because its not the first time I’ve noticed something odd and I don’t wanna get labelled as a trouble maker 😉

I’ve started updating every time I check in, even if the last time was yesterday… only takes a few seconds… And while – for the most part – here in Orange County, So Cal, especially in summer the trails will be the same as the day before, I appreciate that’s not the case for everywhere else in the country.

Its a useful feature, as I expand my wish list, looking at a trail status is a big help, well, to me anyway. Providing its (fairly) current…
