Guys I hate making a new thread for a simple question, I have a 203mm front/185mm rear, I want to switch both to 160mm, I am all XC/no downhill, is this as simple as removing the adapter and swapping rotors?
Post the rear like you did the front, I use these and have 100 % confidence
link doesnt work
You should add the local trail facebook pages so you can keep up with info like this, or call each bike brand and ask when there is a demo??
I love my XT !
My advice for climbing would be try to get some momentum before you hit the incline then downshift to keep spinning up..
++Dont use your granny gear, try clipless
You will need shoes that are SPD compatible.. Anybody care to confirm? I don’t know if older shimanos had a different cleat.
I suggest you get something with front suspension, girls want to be comfortable!
I am coming up on 1 year of riding this February…
For 2013 I would like to join and finish a race.

November 14, 2012 at 09:03 in reply to: What got you into riding? what do you like most about riding #113612I was bored one day and since I live so close to a trail system, I brought my moms hybrid with slick tires out there just to ride around. Couple months later I’ve been through a couple bikes and go every other day.
My longest was 30miles. It was a big trail ride with 300+ people. Everybody was caked in mud
I have no idea where you are so I can’t go with you. Be careful with your leg and have some fun!

Of course ride the trails, but take it easy. Work on technique then speed..you can get your cardio up a little by riding around your house if you’re bored too.
Markham Park, and Amelia Earhart..I have two home trails??
