It was a 2004 or 05 Giant AC. Bought when I was stationed at Fort Richardson. Up until that point I was big into riding street and dirt jumps with 20″ wheels.
Yeah, for sure. More then a recommendation on bike, I was looking for other places to look to buy.
I can’t be over $1000. I would like to be less, but to be realistic. There have been 2 so far 1 on ebay that I think I should have grabbed and missed because I wasn’t sure about it, and 1 on pink bike that I thought was a little on the high side and it sold. I am in no rush either. Also, I have the bike to ride now, if I get a frame and some stuff don’t work, I keep riding and piece it together. I already know more then likely after I get a frame I will be looking for a fork as well. I know the headset and BB may not work, but I have a 142x12mm Axle which seems to be what most frames I’m looking at are so hopefully ok there.
While I’m here the 1 on ebay I mentioned was a Haro Shift R3. Not sure if Haro MTB are even worth looking at. It sold for $475 with Monarch R rear shock. Also it was “New-Take off” from some shop on there. The price seemed solid and I went back and it was gone.
A few months ago I picked up a Diamondback Sync and so far I am very happy with it. Might be something for you to look at.
Well, I ordered the Sync’r. Don’t have it yet, but thank you guys for all your input.
Well, like I was saying, I get special price from a website for people who work in the outdoor industry. Thats why I’m looking at the DiamondBack models. On the website it makes it very clear that your not supposed to post anywhere online the pricing. Between the Line and The Atroz there is a $80 difference. I know this doesn’t really answer your question, but not trying to loose access the website.
