This isn’t really what you asked, but the first thing I do on a new mountain bike is throw my Ergon grips on it. They’re so comfortable for a long day and they have clamps to hold them in place.
That said, I think the Body Geometry grips are locking grips. If they’re locking grips but they still slip, rub a bit of Tacx in there. http://www.tacx.com/en/products/tools/c … y-compound
Works wonders for slippy seatpost clamps as well.
Welcome!
This bill keeps popping up all over the country. I love it because it’s so ridiculous. Pretty much every cyclist in the US owns a car for which they pay all applicable taxes. Somehow these bill composers think everyone who rides a bike never gets in a car.
It is the dumbest of the dumb.
Looks like a great trip just going by the keg setup!
Any of those bikes would be badass. I haven’t ridden the Lapierre’s, sad to say, but I have owned a number of Specialized bikes and I love them. Currently on last year’s Stumpjumper FSR Comp 29. The only thing it needs is a better rider.
If I had to choose of those I’d probably snag the Camber. I just rode one out in Park City for a couple of days and it was nice. I missed my bike, but it was nice.
Then again it might be cool to have a bike not everyone’s got, and Lapierre is new to the game stateside, I believe. Tough choice for you, but you can’t really go wrong.
