That’s exactly what I was looking for, thanks.
I have been using the narrow/wide for about two months now and have yet to drop my chain…I broke the chain once though but that was my own fault.
I know its been awhile but I slapped on the RaceFace narrow wide and replaced my rear cassette and I think I am in love. 😃
"SCHucker" wrote[quote="Schell21":2wtrli81]+1 for Five-Tens. I am us impacts right now which are super thick and will be nice in the winter. I will probably go with the freeriders. FYI dont leave them in the window of your car to bake in the sun…..bad things happen.
What happens if you don’t mind me asking?[/quote:2wtrli81]
The glue holding the rubber on melted and peeled off. Super glue helped fix it but the shoes life span have definitely been shortened.

Happy trails!!!!
I started on a hard tail Trek 4500. Riding today on my FS EX 8 i still feel like i ride the same as on my HT. I rarely if ever am sitting in the saddle and still try and use my arms and legs to soak up all the not so smooth parts of the trails.
I don’t roll over the dirt nearly as easy or graceful as my tires do. 😀
I really really really really really…want a 650b bike. For really no reason at all.
"gar29" wroteYou could always do what I did with my older hard tail. Get yourself a new one, then use the Specialized as a loaner for anyone you con into riding with you!
I have two extra bikes and a couple of very colorful helmets just for such an occasion!
I switched to flats not to many moons ago and love them. 5-10 impacts and forte pedals is my set up and it really feels like I am clipped in a lot of the time. Working on my bunny hops and what not right now.
I went out and got some 5-10 impacts and some forte pedals. It almost feels like I’m clipped in.
I preloaded my rear shock a bit too much last March. I ended up going over the handle bars and supermaning through the air. Broke both bones in my left forearm, it was a fun day though =].
I mean bikes that are not labeled as WSD and about 5’4.
If its got two wheels and you pedal it, I like it. I’d love to have one.
Blankets creek is my good ole faithful. Next would rope mill right next door.
More mountain biking sounds like the only thing that will work.
A buddy of mine had a carbon hard tail from sette and never had a problem with it. Even after it fell off the bike rack in the interstate….
