Have you plotted out a course yet?
Maps are cool so feel free to post one up of the course.
I’m not very tech savvy and i dont know what disord is but I’ll try to figure it out.
And a ride through preview
I think that will work out for you. It’s short enough that riders can go flat out for a lap. Also, I believe that will give less skilled riders a race they can run, i.e. amature, and the more talented riders something competitive to run also. Sounds like an opportunity for riders at all skill levels.
Just my opinion.
I’d say a 2.5 mile lap? What’s the set up? Singletrack?
I never used to think about anything beyond a basic helmet but now that I’m in my early 40’s, I find myself looking for protective gear. Just this week I’ve been shopping a new and better helmet and was thinking about getting knee pads but now yall have me thinking I need elbow guards too! I don’t bounce like I used to, now it’s more of a thud.
A full decade later and…….still nothing…

I hadn’t considered it before but I would have to make sure I didn’t accidentally indica myself when I meant to sativa. Nothing like getting sleepy halfway through a ride….and bring snacks…lol

I will say mountain biking improves my mental health. It helps me burn off stress, decreases depression and anxiety, reduces irritability, and just helps me clean out my head and all that “junk” that gets stored up…..I’m able to get a lot of things straightened out in my head while I ride. I also use the time spent riding just meditating and marveling at nature and all of God’s creation which helps me build spiritually and gain a greater connection….and that’s the largest part of my mental health improvement.
Tried to do the survey a couple of times but there seems to be an issue with being able to complete it. It quit accepting responses and some were absent.
Dual bottles for me.
Sometimes I have to repost after I hit the “submit” button but not very often .
Is the bike being stored in the ride position or hanging upside down? When they hang, if there’s an air bubble anywhere in the system, it can have a tendency to float “up” to the caliper.
Dang, I didn’t know they weren’t doing that anymore. My wife and I have been in the market for a Subaru and this was one of the selling points for me.
Thanks Jeff! I don’t have anything to sell at the moment, I was just wanting to look and see what might be able to buy. When I do have something I can part with, I’ll do as you suggested. Thanks again!
Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overlooking it.
After watching Evel Kinevel make some jumps as a kid, I decided I could jump the creek across the street. The neighbor recently had some dirt delivered and dumped in his yard right next to the creek bank not long before I had this idea…..Insta-ramp. I hopped on my bike with the semi round rear solid back tire with all the flat spots from leaving skid marks all over the neighborhood. Started out in our carport, sped down our steep driveway, crossed the street, down the neighbors steep driveway, across their back yard, hit the ramp, pulled back on the bars and…liftoff! Must have went 200 feet high! lol at the apex of my jump I realized I was now upside down and accompanying that realization was the impact into the creek bank on the other side and then boom! hit square in the chest with my own bike, bullseye with the handlebars. I laid there, upside down, dying from suffocation as the breath had been knocked clean out of my chest never to been seen again. while I lay there awaiting search and rescue, lifeflight, and the power of grayskull…all I could think was I’m still alive and my folks are going to kill me. I didn’t say anything about what happened and one of my siblings told on me because I released a curse word during my jump and that’s how my folks found out….and turns out I had cracked some ribs which I wasnt able to hide because of the pain.
I don’t wear ear buds and often get stuck behind hikers, walkers, and such that can’t hear me call for “Pass” because their ears are plugged and look mad when you pass them when you do get a chance like you didnt give them any warning.
