Okay, so I’m thinking about going to the US during summer 2018 through CCUSA, a program that helps you get a job in the tourist sector for about 3 months. There is an option to find an employer by yourself and I decided to try finding work in a bike park (maintenance, bike service,…). Of course I will check as many bike park websites as possible on google but the question for here is: Does anyone have any similar experience? Not necessarily coming from abroad, just working in a park? Which parks are good to go to, have a good crew, atmosphere, …? I will appreciate any help Big Grin

I’ve never worked in one, but I’ve visited the following bike parks, and this is the order I would rank them for trails quality and overall fun/lifestyle/experience, whatever:

      1. Whistler BC, Canada

      2. Winter Park, Colorado (Trestle Bike Park)

      3.  Angel Fire, New Mexico

      4. Keystone, CO

      5. Steamboat Springs, CO

      6. Highland, New Hampshire

      7. Granby Ranch, CO

      8. Vail (but I was there like 8 years ago)

Some others I want to visit are

      NorthStar, Truckee, Northern California

Snow Summit / Big Bear, Southern California

Thanks, I will look at them up, I have heard about Trestle and Angel Fire before and obviously also Whistler but it’s unfortunately out of my reach as it’s in Canada.
