Hey guys.
We are heading up to NC to ride the Tsali & Jackrabbit trails on 10/20. Can someone confirm if both trail systems are open during this partial gov’t shut-down? It looks like they are both in National Forest or Recreation areas.
Thanks.

Yes, it is my understanding that both Tsali and Jackrabbit are closed due to the government shutdown

Jackrabbit is open(the pit toilets are locked up). People are reporting threats of being fined and arrested if they ride Tsali by a forestry enforcement dude over on the MTBR forums.

I heard today Tsali is still closed and Forest Service is hanging out there to enforce.

Thanks for the replies. We are hoping they are going to resolve this shut-down this week.

Odumma is inflicting as much pain as possible so the people will submit to his will. Ha, you will not be able to vote him back in office. Democrat damage done.

Of course you wont be able to vote him back in office. Even if he invented a source of free, clean, unlimited energy, he couldn’t get reelected. He’s already had two terms.

If only Jefferson had gotten the universal term limits like he wanted …

Seriously though, it seems like these situations across the country has turned into an easy way for the government to generate some income off of fines.
