Hey gang, a quick search here didnt turn up anything – I am headed up tot he redwwods for mem-day weekend and would like to get some riding in, any suggestions? I have been to the area once before and know about the loop that runs down the beach at Gold Bluffs and plan to give that one a try – has anyone else riden up there?

Prarie Creek State park has some good trails. Be sure to check out Fern Canyon and ride through Rockefeller Forest.

Dooh! after posting I realized that Gold Beach is the campground in Prarie Creek State Park. The park has 17 miles worth of trails and they are pretty darn good, so have fun.

yep, Im on it. I will come up with a trail report or two upon my return. There is a large ranger station at Orick and the last time I was out there the young lady ranger was very helpful about the hiking trails so hopefully she will still be there
