      Hi all!

I have a Canyon Nerve AL 8.0, 2015 specs with Fox Float CRD fork and shock, both without remote lockout:

      – fork: Fox Float CTD Performance FIT, Custom tune ID: CQP4, 120 mm travel

      – shock: Fox Float CRD Performance Boost Valve, Custom tune ID: CNNK, 120 mm travel (size of the shock is 190×51)

As I would really appreciate having a dual remote lockout, I’ve seen searching around in my country and even in some European online stores about the parts needed and it seems that the rear shock cannot be converted to having a remote, or at least not with ease. And I don’t find another new shock to buy with the said size that has a remote system.

If someone could provide some info/advice about the above-mentioned issues I’d be glad, as I don’t know how to proceed.

      Thanks!

I would contact Fox directly  through their website.  They are very good at responding to these kinds of questions.

Some (most?) Scott bikes come equipped with a “Twin Lock”  remote that remotely switches between the three CTD settings: Climb, Trail & Descend.  I broke mine and got a replacement at a Scott dealer.  Not cheap at ~$60. I was actually looking to instead switch mine to non-remote to clean up all the cables running to my bar (2 shift, 2 brake, 2 suspension & 1 dropper) but was told the switch mechanism on the shock and fork are completely different remote vs. non remote.  So it may not be possible to convert from one to the other.  As noted above Fox would be the resource for that kind of question.  Good luck.
