Summer Solstice 6 Hour & 5K Race

On June 28th 2014, Atlanta Cycling proudly presents the Summer Solstice 5K & 6 Hour Mountain Bike Race on the fast, flowy trails of Allatoona Creek! This event is sure to pose challenge to both novice & expert alike. Large open fields give way to forest as the trail converges on Allatoona Creek providing a picturesque backdrop for what is sure to be one of West Georgia’s top endurance events. Are you a Solstice Superman? Try both!

Race Course Description:
The race will start in the large field & head to the Rusty Bucket Trail. Participants will then travel counter clockwise to Mason’s Express then on to Mason’s Bridge & Mason’s Bluff. The loop length is 8 miles.

The next 25 people that register this week will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card from Atlanta Cycling that will be given out on race day. All you have to do is register from June 1st thru June 8th at 11:59pm. Now go register and win, proceeds will go back into the trail system so there will be more trails by the end of the summer.
