Did a week in North Georgia, rode several trails at Carter’s Lake, and several trails at Talking Rock, and shuttled from Mulberry Gap to Pinhoti 2. Being from the flat lands of Florida, the climbs were tough, but we were careful to pick trails with easier climbs. Also stopped by Blue Mountain Bikes where I had ordered my Evil Insurgent from for a visit.
My riding buddy was less OK with the climbs and insists he wants an E-bike or to stick to lift parks when he leaves Florida. So to appease him, we are going to Snowshoe Mountain last week of August. It will be my first time ever at a downhill park. I guess it is never too late.

Sounds like you hit some great trails!
You’ll have a blast at Snowshoe. That’s the week before the UCI World Cup race so the trails should be in great condition. Stay around and watch the competition if you can!
