So, new bike day happened on Father’s Day for me with a Raleigh Tokul 2. The XCM forks were lacking as many of you know but I agreed I would ride the bike as is for a bit, well I ordered the Firm spring and the Specialized MCD cartridge and holy crap! For the $61 I spent including the top cap tool it is a complete night and day difference, it actually has some dampening and almost no pogo stick effect. I am very pleased and will be able to live with the ride for a long while before I decide I just have to order a 120mm air fork or real coil fork.
