I’ve got a single day trip scheduled for Santos (Ocala, FL) before my baby girl is born and I want to fit in as much fun as possible. Santos is so big it’s impossible to do it all, so help me pick which trails to tackle. I’ve been once before and rode John Brown, a bunch of blues, and part of Vortex loop.
On the list as “must ride” already: Vortex loop, Anthill, Kenz Korner and of course the freeride area.
What other trails do you recommend adding to the list? Thanks for helping me make the most of what will likely be my last bike trip for the year.

The vortex side is my preference, and I also recommend parking over at the vortex parking area. There have been a few cases of cars being broken into weekdays over at the main parking lot.

I really like Dr. Ruth, Ant Hill, Miller Mile in the center of the Santos section. One of Florida’s only really rocky sections (used to be a rock quarry back in the day). Then of course high tail it over to vortex area if you like freeride and obstacles.

The new “Indigo Flow Trail”. Just opened a couple of weeks. It begins just across from the vortex jump lines; you probably make multiple runs of this 1/2 mile addition.
