Lets see some shots of our Singletracks members doing what they love doing…… riding! Include the who’s, what’s, when’s, & where’s…. 😀
Lindsey (my wife), and myself, plus a ride-buddy we met up with for the day.

Photo-credits: Lindsey, with the exception of the ones taken of her… those were my doing. She’s definitely better with the lens than I. 😀

Tell your wife: Nice Ink!
Nice shots!
How’s the back?
Here is a shot of me on a skinny log bridge:

Woo….. gettin’ a little close to the edge o’ that log, eh? 😃
Linz? The ink you see is maybe only 7% of her total coverage.
My back? Well, it sucks still, gettin’ worse, but I get the big M as compensation…. 😎
I forgot, all those shots were from Palmer Park.

Me enjoying my sixth free apple after my race, I was alittle hungrey lol
Me showing off some bling!!!!
Not bad for only riding for 3 months at that point. I am at about 8 years of not playing a sport or working out at this point unless you call duck hunting and fishing a sport which I do. But you know what I mean.lol

hey Craig
I applied for a spot on the greyhounds for next year. Any word on when they will let people know who made the team?
-
November 26, 2007 at 20:11 #72190
Justin,
I believe December 1 is the date when new team members will be announced. Regardless of the outcome, make a plan for 2008 and race as many events as you can! Sounds like you’re well on your way. Good luck man!

I am planing on all the races at Stony, and the at least one at bloomer, and maybury and again at Addison. I think that is like 4 or 5.

Did you come out of this okay? I’ve been in that situation before, and it did not end well.

Yeah, I quickly lose track of time when I’m in Moab on the slickrock. It’s just all a big cool playground that you can’t get enough of.

Two guys tagged along with me, and I helped them out with a surprising amount of mechanicals they suffered from.

I hope you admonished those first knuckleheads about riding without helmets. If not, they are indeed, Darwin Award candidates!
Well, here in New England we got our first dusting of snow. I know, in Colorado that’s nothing but we usually don’t get a lot of snow, some, but not as much as you guys see. However, it was the first time for me riding in the white $hit in two years and I was on my SS and a bit wary after a fall I had on Veterans Day. Still, by the end of the ride I was completely soaked is sweat.

decided to take out the hard tail one day just before it started snowing.the upside down trek is my riding partners.this turn with the two boulders are a neat little technicle spot that is prtty hard to make it through with out putting a foot down.i came really close one day of making it through and ever since then mike has been pulling the plug on trying to make it through here.A for effort.hahahahaha.

Well, just catching up here- with all the traveling I do I usually end up riding alone and my photos reflect that-
I did ride Thunder Mountain Utah this spring
And Oregon this summer-
also made rural AK in the summer-
Fall in Anchorage-
and back down for a little roadtrip in WA, OR several weeks ago-
its 10 degrees and several inches of snow on the ground now – I hear SoCal calling……. 😃

-
December 27, 2007 at 14:30 #72205
Screw the moose (….did I say that?!? 😮 ); those trails in Oregon are much more interesting.

The Oregon pics are from the Oakridge area – awesome!
Anchorage has an amazing bike trail system that doubles as x-country ski trails in the winter that link together several x-country ski trail parks that double as you-know-what in the summer. The anchorage area for having more people than the entire rest of the state also has a great deal of wildlife roaming around it, sightings like this moose are not uncommon. I wouldn’t try to pet it though- you can, Ill take pictures, Ha! 😃 -

The forest in Oregon have been the most beautiful of any I have ever been in. I did get to walk some trails around Portland and would have loved to had a bike on them but bikes are prohibitted. There was a couple of times that bikes come past and the riders were actually rude to us when we did not hear them coming. Of course you will run across rude people sometimes and you will most likely run across them when its a place like that. If they don’t have respect for the rules then they are not going to have respect for other people either. You would not find as many AH’s out on legal trails. Actually I have never met anyone that has been rude on a trail since I started mountain biking.

April 24, 2008 at 17:10 #72211
post your pics on photobucket.com,it’s free.then go to post a reply on singletracks.com and click on the Img box and then back to photobucket and copy the http://image_url from the pic you want and past it here on your reply post.that’s the way I do it anyway,I’m sure there are way more computer literate people than me on here to show you exactly how to do it.

Use the UBB tags
Insert the picture link (http://www.picturehostwebsite.com/yourpic) between the two tags. Make sure there are no spaces.

i wish someone would do that to the train going past my apartment right now (only kidding!)
i was actually wondering if that was an after effect of the crazy tornadoes that have been popping up recently, but someone actually causing that is terrible. Even so, the pictures are pretty cool.
