I wanted to take a moment and wish all my fellow MTB brothers and sisters, former and current veterans, and all Newbies a wonderful Happy Thanksgiving! I am certain that we all have at least ONE thing in which we are thankful for. While I have too many to list here I am very thankful to be in good health that allows me the pleasure of getting on my bike and riding all that I can!

Happy Thanksgiving to all on singletracks.com and to all the staff.  Special thanks to Jeff, Leah, Greg and Aaron for all you do and the time you take to make ST available to us.  I’m happy for each of you that you can make a living off the site.  Ride on and keep “livin’ the life.”  I think that I can speak for most users when I say that ST is such an awesome site in so many ways.  I especially love the friendly tone everyone (staff and users) sets.  And I’ve personally gained so much from so many on the site.  A sincere thanks to all.   As Greg wrote a year ago I believe, we all are blessed in many ways to be able to ride mtbs.  This weekend is a good time to reflect and give thanks for such a privilege.  I personally believe that we should give thanks to the Creator for such a privilege and all blessings of this life.  But no matter what our individual beliefs are, we all can give back in some way to our community as a way of giving thanks.  The opportunities seem endless — trail building and maintenance, investing in a young person by taking them riding, investing in an adult who needs a little something in their life, giving financially, picking up trash on the trail as you ride, being friendly to other users on the trail (even when they may not be so friendly), and so on.  Giving thanks and giving back make for a great life.

      My favorite holiday sentiment…

      Humans are garbage. Party.
