Question about front wheel axle on SC Nomad

My question is – should the axle on the front wheel of my Santa Cruz Nomad have any type of lubrication (some sort of grease?) – or should it be bone dry?

If I should be using some sort of lubrication -what would be best?

Any pointers, help, comments appreciated

I’ve always lubed mine. I use some Park grease, but any bearing grease will do.
