i have a proflex 756 with the upgraded ods shock system, girvin fork. my husband is a big bike guy he knows his stuff, he was really excitd to get this bike for me but i’m worried it won’t be worth keeping it up. I haven’t ridden it enough to get a feel for it yet but just looking at it i don’t think it will be very comfortable for me.
what would you guys do? Upgrade the components or sell it as it is and get a newer bike?

It’s a cool bike to keep for novelty’s sake, but I wouldn’t put a dime into upgrading it. The only way I would spend any additional money on such a bike would to restore it, if that was required. Otherwise, get yourself a newer bike. They’re so much better!
