I recently put a 1 inch hole in a Surly Lou on my fat bike rolling over a sharp branch. Tear is right in the middle of the tread. If I patch it can I trust this tire tubeless again? Anybody have experience with this? Concerned that it won’t hold air over time, especially in colder temps. Thanks

Woo, that’s a big hole! After you patch it, give it a shot tubeless. You’ll probably figure out quickly whether or not it’s gonna work.

Yeah really big sharp broken branch end got me. Figured I would try super glue the outside and patch the inside. Roll the dice!
