Northern Ireland’s first national trail centre has been launched by online retail giants Chain Reaction Cycles. Located approximately six miles north west of Cookstown, Davagh Forest is now home to the first long-distance mountain bike trails in the country.
Visitors can expect family mountain biking in the form of a 3km green trail and a 7.5km blue route. More experienced riders can enjoy a full 16km red graded trail – the singletrack includes berms, rock drops and slab sections and is said to take between two and three hours depending on fitness and pace.
