I’m looking to buy an all mountain hardtail while staying under $1,800. Right now, my front runners are either a Norco Torrent or Fluid and a Nukeproof Scout. I love what I’ve read about all three bikes and they sound like they’d each fit the bill. Unfortunately, the closest Norco dealer to me is 80 miles away whereas I can get a Nukeproof shipped to my door.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these bikes? What are your thoughts?

In all honesty there’s probably not much difference. I’ve never even seen a Nukeproof in the wild (beyond a pro DH race I watched) but I would definitely go for whatever one you’d rather ride or whatever component spec/color/tires/fork you want for your money. Norco is a great company but I’m sure Nukeproof is too.

So what did you go with and what do you think of your choice? It seems like I am in the same boat but Scout Comp 275 vs Radley Blue Pig.
