Endurance Pro Mountain Biker Sonya Looney leaves Topeak Ergon and creates her own project for 2015.
Sonya Looney is a professional ultra endurance athlete who has been gracing the top of the world’s stage race and 100 mile podiums over the last 4 years. She is announcing her new project for 2015. Sonya is working with sponsors as an individual athlete as well as managing the business aspects of running a team.

Sonya’s team name is called Freak Show DeFeet, powered by COOLMAX® ECOMADE. Michael David Winery and DeFeet have both been individual sponsors of Sonya and came on as title sponsors for 2015. DeFeet is the leading brand in premium and creative socks, base layers, and other outdoor clothing accessories. Sonya has enjoyed designing her own socks for DeFeet over the last 18 months. COOLMAX® ECOMADE works with DeFeet and other textile industry brands creating a sustainable yarn made of 97% recycled plastic bottles. Michael David Winery’s top selling Cab Sauv is called "Freak Show," an appropriate name to describe Sonya’s challenging discipline of racing.
