Ok so I just bought my bike Sunday afternoon and road it today when I got home from work for the first time. First the front tire has alittle wobble in it, is the rim bent? Also it has a squeaking noise from the front hub and it has when I’m sitting,standing or not even on the bike( if I turn it upsidedown) if I’m on the bike it seems to happen if I put wieght on the right side of the bike but if the bike is upsidedown it happens when the tire is coming to a stop and and every half turn. Sorry for the long post.

i looked around and couldnt find anything,whats lubes and oils should i be using? lube for chain,oil for hubs or seat post? wd-40???

Take a visit to your LBS.. You should consider only using the correct fluids avaliable there. At least they are compatable with your bike. Using WD40 is highly not recommended. WD40 really is meant to displace water and break free rusted bolts. It is not really a lubricant. Using correct oil for the chain and cables is a must.

I have been using these depending where i am riding. I was introduced to them at my LBS. One is for dry conditions and one for wet conditions. And lets not forget price efficient 😃

For dry dusty conditions

Do you even have conditions like that in FL? 😆

I was using Pedros Extra Dry, but every shop in Colorado seems to be out of it so I picked up their Ice Wax instead. I rode 46 miles today after lubing my chain with it and it seems excellent so far!

how often should i lube up the bike? every ride?

I was doing that and I felt I was over-lubing it. Now I do it after about every third ride. Mid-week I’ll degrease it, lube it, wipe it, ride around the cul-de-sac a couple times, then wipe it again. Then I don’t touch it on the actual ride day.
