Just got an Oregon Scientific ATC3K. It came with a mounting kit and all that. My only problem is my bike is a Felt Q620 and the frame is kinda oblong. I tried the handlebars, which is where I would really like it to be, but my handlebars are right in between the size of the two mounting brackets it came with. Anyone ever "rigged" one up?

Can you mount it on the stem?

yeah, I tried that too, but all it wants to do is slide around. The stem is right in between the two sizes of mounts I have. If the stem was a tad bigger or smaller it would be no problem

Try the handlebar mount that’s ‘too big’ and fill the extra space with strips cut from an old tube.

Nice. I will try that tonight. Don’t have an old tube but I’m sure if I stop by my LBS they’ll give me one. U think the handlebars are the best place for it? Tried the helmet but it shakes waaay too much

Handlebar, in my case, showed LOTS of side to side motion. I ended up putting it on my frame, right behind the headtube.
