So, has anyone here tried Mountain Unicycling (MUni)? I am actually starting to see some people on trails trying it out. It looks like fun but, a good unicycle is the cost of a decent hardtail. Anyone know where you can rent or test drive one?

Ask around at your LBS.

Couple years ago I borrowed a Nimbus 29er from my LBS and went with the mechanic (who actually knew what he was doing) for a ride on a local trail. I found out quickly that I need a pair of tires under me.

I’ve seen a couple of guys riding a couple of the local (intermediate) trails.  Blew me away.  Dude, if you can ride those things more power to ya’!
