There’s a new Georgia State Park opening Summer 2011 in Coweta County called Chattahoochee Bend and apparently there will be several miles of MTB trails as a part of Phase I. Good article in the AJC about the park, the blurb about mountain bike trail is all the way at the end:

ha, i’m a month late, but no i had not heard about this, but it sounds awesome! 2011 is still a long ways away though… but georgia’s standing policy of allowing (and even encouraging) mountainbiking in state parks is commendable.

It is almost fanatical. Went to my first trail mtce and the passion is intense.

Good! I am all about fanatic intensity when it comes to mountain biking.
