The Pinhoti Trail is renowned as one of the best mountain bike trails in Georgia, and I’ve ridden (and loved!) many sections of it myself. I know that the trail runs into Alabama, but I’ve never heard of anyone riding it there.
I’ve heard rumor that it’s off-limits to bikes in Alabama, but it was marked as bike legal on one map I was looking at. Has anybody ridden the Pinhoti in Alabama? Thoughts, confirmation or disagreement on legality?

Yep, the Pinhoti trail in Alabama is closed to bikes. But some of the Alabama trail sections look like they would be amazing to ride!

Some of the Pinhoti in AL passes through the Cheaha Wilderness, so as a minimum, that portion is off limits to bikes.
