anyone have any experience with this fork? I’m looking for a fork that will handle trail riding and some small dropoffs (nothing more than 2 or 3 feet, which I’d assume is minor). on that note, I also want to get a new rear shock. having the air pressure adjustability on the Fox Float shock I’ve got is nice but it seems to be dropping about 20 or so PSI over a course of 2 or 3 days of riding that works the rear suspension a lot. I want to make the switch to an adjustable coilover. I’ve been drooling over a Cane Creek Double Barrel quad-adjustable coilover but I’m not sure how to set up the custom shock build for my GT I-Drive 5.0 frame. here’s a link to the shock for any interested parties. I’m pretty much sold on it just from the independent rebound and compression adjustability plus the fact taht it looks amazing (and would match the Marzocchi fork) but it also needs to fit my frame. any suggestions?

The Marzocchi AM2 fork would be a good match for your i-Drive5. They’re priced very competitively for the performance you get.
      But…..
Get an AM1, and you get a 20mm thru-axle and their ETA adjustibility. For a last year model fork, spend the extra dough and get the top-grade fork, it’s worth it for the thru-axle alone.

The CCDB is overkill for your GTi-Drive 5. If you want coil performance, check out the new Manitou Swinger Coil or Split RPA (air shock with coil-like linear compression rate)
