Hey all,
I will be staying in Pasadena, CA for a week at the end of this month. I’m looking for some recommendations for MTB rides in the area. I know of the El P out of Altadena, CA and I plan to do that ride. Any other trails you guys could recommend while Im out there? Thanks in advance!

It tried finding places to ride when I was down there a few months back and I wished I found Mt Lowe sooner, there’s so much riding to do there I don’t think you’ll have the need to find another place.
I ended up doing shuttle service, I wasn’t planning on it but when I arrived I met up with a couple guys who we’re waiting for the shuttle so I joined them.
This is the shuttle service I used (link below), really nice guy.

I HIGHLY recommend these shuttle runs, and they’re right next to you: http://www.singletracks.com/blog/mtb-tr … ount-lowe/
Mount Lowe is WAY better than Mount Wilson, but if you have time to do both, Mount Wilson is worth a try. Or you could do Mount Lowe twice, and just choose different trail combinations on your second time down.

Where did you end up riding and what did you think if it?
