Wife got me a couple things bike related this year.
Lucky me to have two pair of Kyle Strait 661 Knee Pads, I bought myself an early Christmas present and picked up a pair of pads and my wife not knowing this order me a pair as well. Good thing is one is L and other is M so I can try them on and see which I like best. If anyone needs a pair I will post the pair I’m not keeping on the buy and sell.
She also got me a new Sram 991 chain and some new bike bling in the form of Straitline headset spacers.Lets hear or see what everyone got!

My son gave me a heavy duty air pump (Tower Air) with a reliable, readable guage! Great for presta valves. Makes the pre-ride prep easier.
My wife gifted me a four pack of Dogfish Head IPA. Makes the post ride relaxation smooth.
I gifted myself a mountain biking tour of Redrocks Canyon near Vegas in March.
Merry Christmas to all!

My wife got me a long-sleeve, merino wool Sugoi jersey. I think it will be fantastic for cool weather, especially when paired with a silk-weight Patagonia base layer.
Plus, my mom got me some Ergon GX-1 grips for the Niner EMD I am building for next season.

I got a Camelbak cleaning kit and a new multi-tool. I also got some base layers and socks that will come in handy for rides. Plus, a gift card to REI which may or may not result in additional bike gear.
I may have also bought myself a little something on Christmas day. More on that later.
Lastly, Mother Nature has gifted central VA with great riding weather this December. I rode Christmas Eve, the day after Christmas, and have rides planned for Friday, Sunday, and a day trip to check out some new trails on Monday.

Looks like everyone got some great stuff.
I used my gift cards to get myself some more stuff, I got 2 spare tubes, 2 power links, a pair of merino wool socks and a pair of five ten impact 2 shoes.
I also went over the top and order a Go Pro HD Hero, not to sure if I will be keeping this or not but the price was right and I decided I’d pull the trigger and decide if I want it (really means, will my wife allow me to keep it) once it arrives. Stay tuned for an update!

My wife gave me a new light for my bike.Had been looking into night riding so researched and ordered a Magic Shine MJ-816E. Tried it out for a short ride the next night and found it as bright if not brighter than my vehicles headlights. Very satisfied so far.

That’s a really cool idea! That should brighten the office up a little bit! 😀
Personally, I didn’t really get all that much bike-related stuff this Christmas (my big Xmas gift was an iPhone). But I did get a couple of t-shirts, some riding socks, Klunkerz, a Hucknroll gift card from my cool bosses which I used to buy some body armor, and I’ve got a $100 bill that I might use to buy a new front wheel.
Will post pics if I get a chance…

Troy Lee Designs Shock Doctor Core Protector. Should help mitigate some pain from crashes a bit. Super light (all cellular pad protection), lots of removable panels for customization, and seems very breathable. I might even use it on Super-D/Enduro events in a minimal form.
