Ummm…HELL TO THE YEEEAAAAH BOY!
I’d rep the singletracks.com all over the place…provided that the jersey is club-cut and I can get my profile name on the front chest…BFD…Yes Please. -

Funny you should mention it. Trek7 and I were talking about that a few days ago..I emailed him a few concept jerseys…Perhaps if you ask him nicely maybe he would post them ….Now they are by no means a final drawing but and Idea or two to talk about…
-
October 6, 2009 at 21:00 #84155
Lol, I have been hinting at it for a while.
-
October 6, 2009 at 21:23 #84156
Im on board.
Would really like to see some of the ideas-
but usually anything other than green works for me 😃 -

Wool jerseys are the way to go.

Very cool.
I also like the way the logo plays out there. How about black on top with gradient shades of red underneath and white lettering – ? JMO -
October 7, 2009 at 08:54 #84160
A jersey just makes sense!! Love the site, it’s really helped me get back into the sport so I’d for sure rep with a jersey
-
October 7, 2009 at 09:51 #84161
nice I like the logo taking up the chest, something about plaid just goes with mountain biking
-
October 7, 2009 at 09:54 #84162
HELL YEAH! I’d definitely buy one to promote singletracks.com BTW the design is a great first draft. Way to go guys.
-
October 7, 2009 at 10:27 #84163
They do look good thats for sure. And it would pretty awesome to have the jersey made up to go with the t-shirt you already have, it would also make "promoting singletracks" on the trail easier and more noticable. It would be even more awesome if there was a loose fit jersey to had had as well. Kinda like that of a DH or FR jeresey.
-
October 7, 2009 at 10:38 #84164
Working on the drawings, but we will see..Its kind of a big commitment to get more than one style made. How about just a Jersey for the moment. That too depends on how many people are willing to purchase….There are minimums that must be meet to make them affordable.
-
October 7, 2009 at 10:47 #84165
That’s cool. Heck its just neat all by it self just having a singletracks jeresey. And i understand totally about the "how many people are willing to purchase….There are minimums that must be meet to make them affordable" thing. If there is a big enough size for me i would more than likely get one anyway. Or it would make a nice gift as well to some of my buddies.
-
October 7, 2009 at 11:10 #84166
Yeah as previously, I could buy one for my girlfriend as well as long as the size is available. I’d expect the price to be about the same as it would for any other jersey anyway, right? So it’s not like it’s going to be ultra expensive to buy.
-
October 7, 2009 at 12:11 #84167
Still have to look into pricing for them…But it should be about the same money as a quality Jersey..
-
October 7, 2009 at 14:54 #84168
Wold there be a big enough run to get the attention of the guys at Twin6?
They design some seriously cool stuff!
-
October 7, 2009 at 15:05 #84169
I actually spoke with the Twin Six guys last year around this time about designing some socks but after a lot of back and forth they said they were too busy. I’ll try to hit them up once we get a little closer with the design…
-
October 7, 2009 at 15:07 #84170
For socks, Save Our Soles are the BEST.
Just sayin’
But yeah, I was thinking of Twin6 since they just did the pre-order for The Fat Cyclist.
-
October 7, 2009 at 15:10 #84171
Yeah, Twin Six has had a lot of success with the Fat Cyclist jerseys. I think we may have slightly more online traffic than fatcyclist.com though so maybe we’ll have more success in wooing them this time 😀
-
October 7, 2009 at 15:14 #84172
That’s really awesome! (the traffic amount)
I have a fat Cyclist jersey and it’s definitely my favorite in terms of comfort and quality.
But for socks, I wear nothing but save our soles anymore, both for mountain biking and bike commuting.

Check out champion system, they make quality custom stuff.

Yeah, element got us a great start with a jersey concept this week. I’m really stoked on the main logo treatment across the chest. Color is always the tricky part – I don’t know how I feel about green jerseys either. Personally I stick to neutrals and primaries when I buy so we’ll see…
those sketches look sweet!
-
October 8, 2009 at 10:25 #84175
i like the green one
-
October 9, 2009 at 16:34 #84176
No offense, but I really hope trek7 does not pick the "shorts". I just have remember the wonderful (sarcasm sign waving) pics he posted a few weeks back.
I would post a link but want to spare any from further pain.
-
October 9, 2009 at 18:27 #84177
I’d definately take that orange one 😮 Hope they also make matching lycra shorts 😃
-
October 10, 2009 at 08:26 #84178
Perhaps another contest? Winning artwork or design in exchange for a free jersey when they eventually get finalized?

A design contest would be pretty sweet – not to take anything from the original two, but it would be cool to see what kind of ideas are floating around out there

http://www.oregoncyclewear.com/MerinoWool.html
This is the classiest jersey around. 100% merino wool. Embroidered lettering of singletracks.com across the front. Very simple and good looking.
100% merino wool jerseys are usually $100 minimum. I’ve seen them as high as $135.
The 30+ pricing from this place would make them $41 for short sleeve and $45 for long sleeve. The embroidery would costs $75 / # of jerseys plus $13. Say we got 50 jerseys ordered, the embroidery would be $14.50 per jersey.
Shipping is $7 for the whole order from Oregon to Singletracks and then about $6 to get to the end user. Say total shipping per jersey is $10 (prolly high).
Long sleeve merino wool jersey would be about $69. Short sleeve about $65.
Each person could pick the color of the jersey they want and whether it be short or long sleeve.
The design would have to the same on each jersey with the same color thread.
Wool is the way to go. Ask someone who has been riding a long time.

October 10, 2009 at 10:30 #84182
I am really not a fan of wool at all…Specially not for mountain biking…And I have had a few wool jerseys wayyyyy back. So I can honesty say no thanks on that. But everyone is entitled to their own voice and choice.
-
October 10, 2009 at 10:31 #84183
I’ll pass on the wool retro-jesey. Bloody nipples are not pleasant.
-
October 10, 2009 at 10:38 #84184
I have this jersey from Twin6:
It looks great and is very comfy.
IF Trek7k can get the attention of the Twin6 guys, they can design some really cool stuff.
-
October 10, 2009 at 10:42 #84185
i am working on a cleaned up versions of those two posted initial versions with the templates provided by champion systems ..

I would rock one for sure! Love this site and love riding now. Finally got rid of my 5 year old POS $150 Walmart Mongoose and got a decent bike a few months ago and haven’t been able to stay off the damn thing. With the help of this site I have been able to find and get great directions to tons of tracks, some of which were only a few miles from my home that I never even knew were there! I have been riding 2-5 times a week for the past four months and went from 210 pounds down to 180 pounds. Thank you singletracks! I would love to represent!

you could wear band-aids over your nipples to keep that from happening. HAHA just kidding. I dont like wool either.

October 12, 2009 at 19:54 #84189
I would really enjoy a matching bib short, doesn’t have to be as complex as the jersey, as I am more of a serious xc guy.
PS: anyone thinking skin suit?
-
October 13, 2009 at 16:08 #84190
Whatever y’all come up with (T-shirt, Jersey or Shorts) I’m in for one of each, as long as green isn’t the only color avalible!
I’ve always been a fan or white lettering on black jerseys (Black is thinning 😎 ).
-
October 23, 2009 at 07:48 #84191
Did anything new come on this? 😕 Because i think it would be awesome to have one of those jerseys. I actually just bought one off of ROADID.com the other day. It wouldnt be right if I didnt have a Singtracks.com one!! ugh!!
-
October 23, 2009 at 08:15 #84192
Yes we are still working on the final set up of the Jersey..Trying to get a great looking Jersey that will make everyone happy..
-
October 26, 2009 at 17:07 #84193
I vote for jersey only.
I’m just a little picky about how my lycra shorts fit, y’know?
-

Hey folks
Just an update but we are almost there with the Jersey
I am just working out the details with the folks at Champion systems and will have the fiddling done with the look very soon for all of you.
So that you know.. We will be taking orders for the short sleeve only, long sleeve DH style ones may come along but we need to make a minimum order of short ones first..So if anything to ensure we get enough made, I am thinking of those who want a long sleeve to order a short as well..That way we get the numbers up and get these jerseys on the go.
maybe is now a good time to get some numbers in.. So folks let us know.
The photo of the proof is coming along and will be posted as soon as all the minor changes are made.

Think these might be ready in time for Christmas. Sure would make a nice gift! 😉

November 12, 2009 at 11:55 #84197
In case you missed it on the blog, the design is complete and we’re now accepting pre-orders for the jersey. There will be two versions: a short sleeve, full zip jersey and a long sleeve DH jersey. Both will sport similar designs to the image below.
We need to order at least 10 of each style and we’re 60% of the way there on the DH jersey (40% on the short sleeve). Get your order in before Monday, Nov. 16 and we’ll also thrown in a 1-year Pro Membership ($29.99 value). Thanks element22 for such a rad design!

Id like to see the actual jersey when you guys get them..
-
November 13, 2009 at 07:16 #84200
Count me in for at least three. I use this site to plan trips for my brother, my girlfriend and myself, so we would all rep this site for sure!
Like the designs, green doesn’t bother me, we’re in the woods and dirt more than half the time anyway.
-
November 13, 2009 at 12:02 #84201
Just to be clear, if you want a jersey you have to pre-order it. Unfortunately the jerseys are not cheap to print so we can’t really afford to order a bunch and hope people buy them. There’s also the whole sizing issue as well so if you miss the order when it goes in, it’s too late.
The plan is to submit the order on Monday, Nov. 16 or whenever we hit 10 orders for each style.
-
November 14, 2009 at 16:29 #84202
Got mine, hope the DH jerseys turn out as nice looking as the normal jerseys.
-
November 16, 2009 at 08:52 #84203
I submitted my pre-order and got my receipt from Paypal, but the confirmation page here at Singletracks was blank.
-
November 22, 2009 at 00:10 #84204
will the DH jersey be avaible in red, the bike and helmet im looking to upgrading to are red
-
November 22, 2009 at 06:26 #84205
I am not planning on doing a red jersey any time soon…Maybe next year but I want to stay with the website colors so if anything maybe I will do another style but keeping with the websites existing color pallet.
-
November 22, 2009 at 07:23 #84206
well then i guess ill just look like a mexican flag, the bike im planning on getting is red and white, cuz i would rock the jersey just to promote the site

Paypal says mine’s in the mail.
Trek7k, will mine make me look that thin and in shape? If so, I’d have gladly paid double!

I think it’s element22’s design that’s so slimming. Diagonal stripes and argyle tend to do that 😀

January 2, 2010 at 21:50 #84217
Well all I know is that there are gonna be a few folks up here wishing they had one!
I will just tell them where to get it.

Mine came today and it looks AWESOME! Thanks Element22!
(The full zip is a nice touch too)

January 4, 2010 at 21:15 #84219
They look great. Maybe it’s just the model, lol. My wife seems to agree either way. I had a question about the sizing. Do the mediums run a bit larger then normal? According to the size chart they are a 42. Just wanted to make sure before I order one because I normally where a large jersey sized 41-43 depending on the brand and they usually fit perfect, not to snug for my taste and not to loose. My actual chest measurement is right at 41.5. According to the size chart provided a large would be too big for me.
Maybe somebody that has already purchased one and is close to my size can help me out. I am 5’10 180 pounds and have an actual chest measurement of 41.5 if this helps any. Thanks in advance.

F7, I wear a large in Twin6 jerseys, but I ordered a medium in these. (42" chest here)

January 4, 2010 at 23:23 #84222
