Hi.
I have a chance to buy a used 2013 Giant XTC 2 29er, with air fork FOX and rear brake lever SLX , XT cranks for 421 USD in good condition.
Is it worth it?
Thanks in advance.

According to Bicycle Blue Book, that’s an OK deal

Given the private party value of $760-783 (good condition) then$421 seems like a really good deal!

If this bike is what you want then yes it appears to be a good deal. Expense usually is the biggest turn off to most trying to break into the sport. This bike will do a lot and last a long time. Ride the heck out of it, enjoy it and have the peace you didn’t have to spend $1,000+ on a bike. I would ride it.

That’s a good price for the hardtail in that pic.
If you’re new to the sport and buy a used bike, try to get it into a shop to have it looked at before buying. A used bike will probably need a fork service, and might want to have someone inspect the wheel bearings.
