Hi i would like to know if 12 speed nx eagle which is shimano fitting will fit on a hope pro 4 shimano freehub that is not micro spline. Will this squeeze on or be simply too long for the standard shimano freehub? Many thanks Joseph.

Eagle NX is a SRAM product, not Shimano.

Sram Eagle NX and SX cassettes go on Shimano HG hub bodies. Which is the hub body that has been around for decades. The smallest cog that will fit on a HG hubs is 11 teeth.
Sram Eagle GX and more expensive cassettes go on Sram XD hub bodies. Which was created by Sram when they came out with 1×11 ivetrains. The smallest cog that will fit on XD hubs is 9 or 10 teeth.
Shimano 1×12 SLX, XT, and XTR cassettes go on Shimano Micro Spline hub bodies. Which was created by Shimano when it came out with it’s 1×12 drivetrains. The smallest cog that will fit on Mico Spline hubs is 10 teeth.
