Hey Everyone,
My name is Sean and I am getting back on the trails for being out for a little over a year. My first bike was a Specialized Hardrock pro 2011 disc, and it got stolen after only 6 months of trail riding. I live in San Antonio, Texas and I have the Salado Creek trails a half mile from my apt. I recently bought a bike, (Windsor Cliff 4900) from Bikes Direct and I never thought I would be this satisfied. The bike is a great transition back to the trails, and it is much better than the HR I used to ride. Check out my review under the Hardtail section. I posted a couple of pics of the upgrades i have done to it.
If anyone can give me any advice on trail riding in Texas, as in where to ride and what to expect that would be great. I am riding XC trails, but eventually I want to get into Freeriding / Downhill. Are there any places like that in Texas or am I screwed down here??
Any advice or response would be greatly appreciated!
