Hey guys, With my mom wanting to go on vacation in another state not to far from us (Georgia,Tennessee, North Carolina, etc..) I was wondering if we could get a list of the good trails with areas for freeriding, jumps or sweet trail features for FR around the southeast. It takes forever researching through all of the trails on the website and its hard to find trails with FR stuff instead of just XC. Ill start with some Florida trails I know of and if anyone else could help out for other states it would be appreciated. If this gets popular ill edit this post so we have all of the trails in one post and maybe get it stickied. Thanks 😃

      Florida:
      Markham Park – Sunrise
Tillman Canal Trail – Palm Bay
      Santos – Ocala
North Port MTB trails – North Port

      Georgia:
      Big Creek – Roswell

      West Virginia:
      Snowshoe Mountain

Big Creek in Roswell, GA has a decent FR/DH specific section as well as the XC content.

Nothing I’d take a vacation specifically for though.

have fun trying to find something like that. they do exist but hard to come by. santos is the only thing that would offer the most of any type of freeride in the southeast. other than that its just gonna be xc w/ a little bit of am in north GA and north AL with a little bit of jumps and downhill in it. i do know that there is private stuff as in private property that you have to the ppl in oreder to get on it, but they get stingy with it so there ain’t no use in that. sorry bud.

if you had the time and mula i would say look into going to snowshoe mtn. in west virginia. good place on the east coast. like a minature whistler with lifts, DH trails, FR trails, and a "boneyard"section. they have an annual DH race series there so its gotta have something good.

i’m tryin to save up for next year. it would a drive for me. like 10 or 12 hours straight from south alabam. but maybe next summer right. we gotta do what can do it ain’t like we can just ride our rig down the road and hop on the lift for a ride up. we gotta work for our thrills which ain’t even worth it sometimes. 😠
