I told my boys that all I wanted for Father’s Day was to ride with me. Well everything was going along just fine until we stopped to rest and my son and his friends thought it would be fun to ride off this large boulder that is really steep. This is years goal was to slow down and chill a little instead getting all serious so when my son decided he would go pro this I just sucked it up and decided not to bitch about waiting. Everything was going fine until I decided to go down the boulder instead of just chilling Well gravity won on I separated my shoulder and flat end my tire. Doc says 6 weeks she new right away that my trusty Nomad was to blame. I even told her it wasn’t her fault just my lack of skill ( this would not be my first time to see her ). With that said I got the best Father’s Day gift of all. My son posted on his Instagram the following. Father’s Day update, separated shoulder, laughed it off, finished ride, champion dad. So that made it worth it.

😆 Of course there is! How come the video cameras never catch us doing anything cool! Glad you enjoyed. One of my favorite things to do is ride with my son also 😃

That’s awesome!
I’m glad your Father’s Day gift was exactly what you wanted (you know, minus that one detail )
I hope your 6-week recovery flies by!
