      Hey all,

I have an 08 Rush 5Z with the fox fork. I droped the stem down and put on a narow handlebar. The stock was just to wide and high for me. I cut the housing down and cut the cables, strung eveything back up and it works great. EXCEPT that it wants to rub the crap out of the top of my fox fork. I really can’t cut the housing any shorter. In the short term I’ve put rub guards on my crown and the tops of the fork adjust knobs, but it, looks a little trashy. HELP? Any cable routing gurus out there that can help?

      Thanks

in my shop we use 3m tape. go to like a graphics or like a sign shop they will have some clear flexible tape stuff that is just shy of one mili. the stuff works great it can rub all it wants, you just put on new tape when it looks nasty. and the adhesive on it come off with alcohol. i even put it on my chainstay. it looks better then a lizard skin and doesnt hold dirt just wipe it off. it looks better. its cheaper. and more practical. its what i use on high end bikes. stuff rocks. cut the edges round so it doesnt peel.
