My cousin lives in Burlington, VT, and I’m going to head up this summer for a weekend to do some riding with him.

Can anyone give the heads up on the mandatory rides? We’re both more apt to get killer singletrack than super technical stuff, but when in Rome…

      … go to Vermont. 😎

Depends on how far you are willing to travel to get to some trails.

Close to Burlington there is practically nothing special. however if you go for some trips you’ll get some juice stuff.

Sleepy Hollow Inn is one of my favs. the trails range in 3 difficulties. has some nice views if thats what you are in to as well. Located in Huntington i believe the towns name is.

Saxon Hill is another one of my favorites to grind up. It’s currently open, it’s only like 3-4 mile loop. Located off Rt 15 Essex.

Red Rocks is kinda kool for a downhill slope, then if you want to do some cliff diving or swimming thats a nice place to go. Located in South Burlington behind Price Chopper.

I suppose those are some of the ones that i try to get to every season, so do some research on the ones you want to hit up. You won’t be terribly disappointed.

Go to Waterbury and ride at Perry Hill! Google East River Rd Waterbury VT. Park there, cross the railroad tracks, climb a killer hill (consider it a warm up) and have a freakin blast. It’s worth the drive. There’s three main loops and a few other ones as well. Probably a good three hours of riding.
