sommy friend and I are in argument about wether cannondales are good or not, his arguement is that they crack a lot, so I was wondering what your expierences with cannondale road bikes and mountain bikes breaking are.

I did a long term review of the Trigger, and it was a very reliable, capable bike–no issues:

That reputation dates all the way back to the 90s when they did have issues with frames cracking. It shows how hard it can be for a brand to change how they’re perceived, whether deserved or not.
Cannondale makes fine bicycles for both road and mountain. I don’t think frame failure should be a concern that factors into deciding if a Cannondale is the right bike for you.

My very first true mountain bike was an aluminum Cannondale, F300 I believe. Never had any issues with it and still own the frame! I bought a new Cannondale F29er 3 and again no issues whatso ever. Maybe I’m swayed because they were my first brand but I have a lot of faith in them. Did you or your friend personally have any bad experiences with Cannondale?
