Are there any fast rolling 2.35 tires?

Currently running 2.35 Kenda Nevegals on my SC Heckler. They are extremely slow rolling. It feels like I’m running tires filled with water sometimes. I don’t want to drop down to 2.10s but am considering some 2.20 WTB Wolverines. Are there any 2.35s out there that are fast rolling and suited for hard pack, roots, and limestone? It’s taboo here to ride when it’s wet so I don’t need any that can handle mud.

Kenda makes the Small Block 8 in a 2.35" width for 26" wheels!

AWESOME tire. I used that size front and rear on my old Anthem.

+1 on the Kenda Small Block 8’s…with those it doesnt really matter what size you run they roll out, when I used them I had them in 2.1 but my buddy runs them now in the 2.35 and they do roll out…

+1 on 2.2 wolverines! Good tire!

Also take a look at the maxxis Aspen 2.25, another great tire. Even faster than the WTB.

Finally made a decision. Went with the Wolverine 2.2s. First, they are really 2.3 – 2.4 in actual width so you don’t lose any footprint. They are extremely fast. My speed has increased about 15-20%. It’s been a huge difference. They grip superbly also so I don’t feel I lost anything by dumping the Nevegals. The only downside I’ve seen is that they are very thin walled. On my first ride, I heard a lot of pops from the rubber catching on rock gardens so there’s an opportunity for a lot of pinch flats…and I actually got one the first ride. I just switched to Stan’s tubeless so that should solve that problem and make them roll even faster.
