Anyone tried a Norco Fluid 7?

Anyone tried the Norco Fluid 7.2? I have a buddy thinking about buying one and can’t find any real reviews on them. They look pretty decent and that bad of a component spec. I’m also curious about their weight and how well they climb for an entry level AM bike. He’s looking for something with 120mm travel and 650B wheels under $2k.

I would look at a Giant Trance 27.5. It lists for $2175, but he should be able to buy it for $2000 even at the shop.

I picked up a Fluid last month and have been impressed. Big difference in climbing, rocky terrain, down hill confidence and the ability to raise the front wheel to clear obstacles. The only down side so far is the Deore
derailleur which is still missing shifts. I test rode several Giant and Specialized products, Norco had them beat in a cost / benefit analysis.
