Just curious if anybody is racing this weekend at the Fort Yargo Duathlon, Winder, GA. Rain is clearing by noon and Saturday looks sunny. Been MTBing for less than a year, so I want to test the skills against others.
After I win the race, I would like to thank my dog Hugo for doing the running with me and my wife for letting me escape to do my rides!!!! 😃

If you’ve been riding for less than a year and want to test your skill around some other guys ? Don’t get upset or frustrated. If you have never rode with anyone that races- you’ll soon see what Im talking about. Go have some fun and let us know how it went.

I should say I have been "back" into riding for a year. I am able to hang with riders who have been riding for years, but do expect to get a reality check tommorrow. I am looking forward to the experience of the whole event and an opportunity to learn something. It has been a great motivation for training through this mild winter.
I will get some pics.
Maybe I won’t get to thank my dog and wife!!

It was a great day for a great race. I finished 17th in my age bracket, last results had over 34 racers in the group. Can definently do better on the running. Biking time was within the the top 8 which included a bad case of a calf cramp.
Will do more races. See you guys out there.
