Every month we round up a list of new trail openings and for February it looks like we’ve only read about 1 (Redstone Arsenal in Alabama) so far. February is probably a slow month for openings, at least in the northern hemisphere, but if you know of one, please let me know!

I live in San Diego County, we don’t open new trails. We only close existing trails. One reason I’ll be moving to Prescott soon enough. They are just the opposite.

Been working with my local SORBA on a new trail in Paris Mountain State Park, but it won’t “officially” open til next month. It’ll be directional and awesome.

The only new trail that is going to open up sometime this year, is the Palisade Plunge.

Right on. Seems like there are a lot of trails in progress we’re hearing about. I’m thinking maybe we’ll start a separate list of trails approved and/or under construction…

@GJmtb…I’ve been told by guys with COPMOBA that they “hope” to have the Plunge open in 2021. You may ride parts of tithes year but not top to bottom.

@mtnryder yeah that sounds about right. I believe parts of it will be available later on this year. COPMOBA is always cleaning up trails and adding connector trails quite often around here, I’m sure there is stuff in the pipeline. They do a great job of letting us know when stuff will be worked on. Just have not seen anything posted yet, where I usually look for info.
